Finally the high season is upon us in full swing with many an investor looking for a safe place to put his currency while the opportunity lasts. By that we are not inferring to a rise in the real estate market, not as of yet at least, but rather to a safe place to guard against currency devaluation and high inflation which is sure to come. Given the massive budget shortfalls of both the US and Europe and the long term downward pressure on their currencies, we only anticipate more and more pent up demand to come looking for sanctuaries outside of their respective jurisdictions. Furthermore, with the Babyboomers looking for less expensive havens to spend their retirement years as well as their devalued Social Security checks, we anticipate more and more demand in the years to come. However, the opportunities are in the here and now. Who knows what the future will bring in terms of affordability? Having said that, we cannot stress enough the need for Sellers to come back to reality and price their wares properly, lest they feel not the need to sell. The same goes for bottom feeding Buyers, who make ridiculously low offers and who do not understand why sometimes Sellers do not even respond; sheer silence is of the norm for these people. Time and time again we have seen both parties separated by a common illusory reality and who end up wasting their time and effort. However, to those who listen to our advise, these are the ones making fabulous deals with both buyers and sellers happy and contented. Incidentally most of our Sellers have been ``trading sideways or upwards`` and are immediately purchasing elsewhere here. Relativity is the key when one sells and buys in either a down or up market, so a temporary loss may mean exactly that,-temporary-.
